As the owner and provider at ABC Wellness, Dr Karen takes to heart the health and wellbeing of each patient. Developing specified care plans to maximize the positive outcomes of the holistic treatments including chiropractic, acupuncture and massage. Coordinating care plans to include home programs of strengthening and stretching to bring balance and tone into the body. Dr.Karen grew up and raised her 2 boys in South Florida but has family roots here in Gainesville. Both her parents grew up in the area and attended UF. Once her boys had finished High School, that familial history brought DrKaren back to town where she was able to homestead the property her father grew up on, establish herself in Alachua with her holistic healing, and create Dorothy’s Peace Farm. DrKaren achieved her doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, her acupuncture credentials through Acupractice and her massage training at the Florida College of Massage. DrKaren continues to learn in each of these healing modalities to broaden the roads of recovery offered at ABC Wellness.
